Made in Newtown, Wellington
Who wears short shorts? YOU wear short shorts! The wide cut of the leg in our Poppy Shorts means you feel the freedom of a fun, flippy, summery skirt, but with the security of, well . . . pants. Enjoy your spring and summer adventures pairing the floral linen Poppy with your best worn-in white tee, or go all out and create a faux playsuit look with the Penelope Tee on top. Features front patch pockets, self waist tie and invisible zip closure in side seam. Made responsibly in Wellington from deadstock* linen.
*Deadstock is defined by the industry as fabric deemed worthless through a lack of sales or interest, and is therefore warehoused or disposed of. We think waste is bullshit, especially waste of this scale, and we'd rather see this polyester used and worn and loved, than dumped.
While we adore using and wearing natural fibres, our definition of responsible fibre use means occasionally giving a home to fabrics such as this. The nature of deadstock fabric means that there is a finite amount available, and once all of the fabric is used the style cannot be replicated.
